From Leo Burnett to Helping Local Bosses Sell
At Leo Burnett and CJ WOWSHOP, I learned how big brands sell on screen. Then I came home to Johor and saw local bosses replying to WhatsApp at midnight while their leads went cold.
I'd felt that pain myself, selling health supplements by hand. So I built and tested my own automated closing flows, 30 to 40 versions, until I was closing 6 out of every 10 enquiries from my ads. Then I taught the same system to a whole agent network, and their closing rates went up too.

In 2016 I was an intern at Leo Burnett, one of the biggest advertising agencies in the world. I saw what great marketing could do for big brands with big budgets.
After Leo Burnett, I became a TV show video editor at CJ WOWSHOP, editing product shows broadcast across Malaysia. It was an honour to know viewers all over the country were watching my edits. But what really hooked me was the selling formula behind every show: a hook that grabs attention, the viewer's pain, a demo of how the product works, the moment they feel they need it, and then the promotion price, urgency and limited stock that make them decide fast. That's when I fell completely in love with marketing.
Then I came home to Johor and saw the other side. Owners of beauty salons, clinics and family businesses were doing everything themselves. They replied to WhatsApp at midnight, paid for ads that brought in "price?" messages and nothing else, and watched leads go cold because nobody followed up in time.
I knew that pain first-hand. While still working a full-time job, I hustled on the side selling health supplements, and I replied to every enquiry by hand, after work and even during work, until I had no time or energy left. Then I discovered ManyChat, a chatbot tool. It had no AI back then, so I tested and rewrote my closing SOP again and again until I found a few methods that really worked. That's when I realised how important automated replies really are.
I kept refining my reply flows, testing 30 to 40 versions until I knew exactly which ones worked. During Malaysia's MCO, when everything moved online, that system helped me find agents around the world and close customer after customer. From my ads, I was closing 6 out of every 10 enquiries. That result convinced me how powerful sales automation can be. And now, with AI, replying is no longer the problem.
Then the company asked me to train their agent network. I taught them my reply methods and closing flows over Zoom, and their closing rates went up too. I went from an employee hustling on the side to bringing in big sales for the company, and many of the customers I met back then still keep in touch with me today, almost 5 years later. When my former boss saw how much AI could change the game, they invited me back to train their agents again.
In 2020 I started Desite Creation with one goal: give small businesses the kind of marketing big brands get, without the big-brand budget.
Since then I've become a Meta Verified Business Partner and an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, and I've helped 100+ businesses set up ads, AI sales funnels and follow-up systems that keep selling while they sleep.

I don't chase every new app. I find where your sales are leaking, whether that's slow replies, no follow-up or the wrong ads, and I fix that first.
